The dark comedy Sutta Kadhai has been selected for screening at the Bournemouth Film Festival in the UK. The movie’s producer, Ravinder Chandrasekaran of Libra Productions, was elated at the news, “all my efforts have finally borne fruit. I suffered a lot after Sutta Kadhai’s release, but I never lost faith in my team and I have been rewarded for it! This has healed me!”

S Madan of Vendhar Movies had secured the distribution rights of the movie and gave it a bigger platform upon release. “I was thrilled when I heard the news. This is all thanks to director Subu, the technicians and the stellar cast!” he said.
The movie received mostly favourable reviews on its release, but performed poorly at the box office. We are also told that Sutta Kadhai has been nominated for the German and French film festivals as well.
Meanwhile, Libra Productions’ Nalanum Nandhiniyum has received a clean ‘U’ certificate and is awaiting release.
