“The shooting of this yet-to-be-titled movie has commenced. Since the original story is set in Chennai, the Telugu script has been tweaked to suit the taste of audiences,” a source told DC. Apart from Swathi, debutant Rakshak has been roped in. Chinni Krishna, best known for Brother of Bommali (2014), Veedu Theda, and as a writer for Badrinath (2011), will be directing this one.

Swathi, who recently starred in Yakkai with Krishna Kulasekaran, has another Tamil movie in the pipeline called Thiri with Ashwin Kakamanu. While the film was announced in 2015, it is yet to be released.
