Actress Swetha Tiwari, who featured in popular TV shows Kasauti Zindagi Kay, Parvarish and others, is the latest celebrity to fall victim to hoax death messages. A condolence message on a facebook fan page claiming Swetha’s death, went viral. However, Swetha’s husband stepped in and clarified that the message was a hoax, and that Swetha was well.
A message was posted on the Facebook fan page of actress Sakshi Tanwar, which read: “I feel very sad and shocked on knowing that Shweta Tiwari (Prerna) of Kasautii Zindagi Kay lost the battle with life and is no more. RIP Shweta. Balaji Telefilms and the whole team will miss you…”
Abhinav Kohli said, “Shweta is very much alive and spending time with the children.” According to reports, while Abhinav himself was taken in by the message, he was able to reach his wife and confirm that all was well.
Swetha also spoke to the media, and said, “I don’t feel like reacting to such rumors now. Believe it or not, this is the third time people have declared me dead and I have become used to it. Abhinav was the first one to call me up; he was nervous while speaking on phone. I told him to relax and just ignore such baseless rumors. I am very much alive and happily enjoying the evening with my children.”
Meanwhile, Swetha’s daughter, Palak might make hindi film debut, in a film called Quickie, opposite Darsheel Safary of Taare Zameen Par.
