Taapsee Pannu Wraps Up Shoot of Haseen Dillruba

Actor Taapsee Pannu wrapped up shooting on Thursday for her upcoming murder mystery film Haseen Dillruba, co-starring Vikrant Massey and directed by Vinil Mathew.

Pannu posted a picture on Instagram on Thursday from the sets with the caption: “अभी आँख में खटक रही हूँ तो क्या…. कभी तो दिल में धड़कूँगी 💁🏻‍♀️ One line that sums up Rani Kashyap! And it’s a wrap on #HaseenDilruba ! Finally, after shooting during the coldest days in Haridwar to sultry hot days in Mumbai this film has probably experienced all seasons and human emotions possible under the sun (including the Pandemic). Here’s to getting ‘pulp fiction’ back on screen with the character you either love to hate or hate to love coz basic toh hum vaise bhi kuch karte nahi hai na 😁 P.S – don’t know why we r so happy in this picture must be coz of @polyvynil , the only person on set who has better sense of humour than Rani Kashyap and the other one is the only one who loved this self obsessed borderline narcissist character more than she ever could @vikrantmassey87 #FilmWrap #HaseenDilruba #EndOfAnotherChapter.”

Produced by Aanand L Rai and Himanshu Sharma under the banner of Colour Yellow Productions, the mystery thriller also features Hansika Motwani and Harshvardhan Rane.

The first poster of the film was released by the director last December.

Initially, the film was supposed to have a theatrical release this September but shooting was stalled due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The film marks the first collaboration between Pannu and Massey.

After four consecutive hits in 2019, Pannu was last seen in Hindi drama Thappad (2020) directed by Anubhav Sinha, which he co-produced with Bhushan Kumar of T-Series and Vinod Bhanushali. The actor has a Tamil film titled Jana Gana Mana in her pipeline.
