The film is said to have a heroine-centric story, and the latest update is that it is the Tamil remake of the Telugu film Anando Brahma, which starred Taapsee Pannu in the lead. Sources say that a confirmation has not come yet. In.com reports that Tamannaah has already started shooting for the film.

Yogi Babu, Munishkanth Ramdoss, Bugs and Mansoor Ali Khan are said to be part of the cast. The music for the film is by Ghibran, editing by Leo John Paul and cinematography by Dani Raymond.

The Telugu original Anando Brahma, written and directed by Mahi V Raghav, followed the story of four people over four days, who are convinced by buyers that a ghost infested house is safe to live in.

The movie was a made on a small budget and turned out to be a box-office hit with good reviews. It starred Srinivas Reddy, Vennela Kishore with Taapssee in the lead, and ‘Tagubothu’ Ramesh, Shakalaka Shankar, Vidyullekha Raman and others in important roles. Music was by Krishna Kumar (popularly called K). The movie was also dubbed in Hindi as Kanchana 3.

Rohin Venkatesan’s last film Adhe Kangal was also a thriller, starring Kalaiyarasan, Janani Iyer and Sshivada. Ghibran was the music director for this film too. It was a super-hit at the box office when it released in 2017.

Tamannaah is likely to join the shoot for the upcoming film after the June 14 release of Khamoshi, the Hindi version of the Nayanthara-starrer Kolaiyuthir Kaalam in Tamil. The film is written and directed by Chakri Toleti, and co-stars Prabhu Deva in the lead. The team is busy with promotions currently. The movie was supposed to release last month, but was postponed to avoid a clash with Devi 2, also a horror-comedy starring Tamannaah and Prabhu Deva.
