Director and producer Gautham Menon’s Tamilselvanum Thaniyar Anjalum, which had been lying on the shelves for some time, will now release on September 11. The film is being directed by debutant director Premsai, and shot simultaneously in Telugu as Courier Boy Kalyan, with a different lead cast. The Tamil version features Jai and Yami Gautham.

Speaking to The Hindu, Menon said that there would be slight differences between the two versions. In the Tamil version, actor Santhanam has been brought on board to bring in more comedy scenes, while in the Telugu version, romantic scenes have been the main focus.
Menon has also said that a few issues still need to be resolved before the film can be releases. On the subject of the two versions, Menon said at the Telugu press meet that initially they had only planned for a Tamil version, “but later realised it would suit Telugu audience as well”.
