Actor Nithiin Reddy who got hitched to his long-time girlfriend Shalini Reddy in Hyderabad has been presented with a virtual gift by the team of his upcoming film Rang De. After the postponement of his wedding that was to take place in April in Dubai, the actor finally tied the knot on Sunday evening.
The ‘cute marriage gift’ as the makers called it is a short fun teaser of the film featuring him and co-star Keerthy Suresh; they seem to be getting hitched in it as well. The film directed by Venkat Atluri is being produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi under the Sithara Entertainments banner with PDV Prasad presenting the film.
Right through the teaser, Arjun (Nithiin) seems to be reluctant to marry Anu (Keerthy) for reasons that are unknown while Anu seems l excited about the whole thing. In the end, Arjun is seen washing vessels, ironing clothes, and sweeping the floor of his house with the caption: ‘Happy Married Life’.

Touted to be a romantic comedy, the film has PC Sreeram on camera, Devi Sri Prasad on music, Navin Nooli on edit, and Avinash Kolla on art. Additional Screenplay has been penned by Satish Chandra Pasam. Apart from the lead cast, Rohini, Rajveer Ankur Singh, and VK Naresh have landed important roles.
Prior to this, the makers released the character introduction motion poster and the first look of the film. Recently, PC Sreeram revealed that only 30% of shoot is left and that the film will reportedly go back on floors in August. They have primarily shot in Italy and have a few portions to be shot locally.

The film will ‘hopefully’ hit the screens for Sankranthi next year, going by the teaser.
Meanwhile, Nithiin was last seen in Venky Kudumula’s action rom-com Bheeshma alongside Rashmika Mandanna. The film revolved around a meme creator who gets a chance to prove his love to his crush when he is appointed the CEO of her company. The film opened to decent reviews and fared averagely at the box office.
The film is available for streaming on Netflix and SunNXT.
