Actor Ravi Teja’s younger brother, B Bharath Raju, was reportedly killed in a car accident on June 24. The incident occurred when the car, a red Skoda sedan, crashed into a stationary lorry at Kotwalguda on the outskirts of Hyderabad at around 10 PM. The front portion of the car was completely damaged and his entire body was smashed due to the impact of the collision.

According to a Times of India report, Bharath was driving the car alone and was on his way towards Gachibowli from Shamshabad on the Outer Ring Road. Owing to the accident, Bharath’s face was completely disfigured. The police were able to identify him this morning.

Speaking to ToI, the police said they have no idea if he was under the influence of alcohol or not. “We will send the viscera to Forensic Science Laboratory for examination to see if the victim had consumed alcohol,” said the inspector.

Bharath was with a friend named Uttej, who was also injured in the accident.

Also an actor, Bharath acted in a few films including Aa Mugguru and Jump Jilani. He has another brother called Raghu Raju.
