Magizh Thirumeni’s Thadam teaser is out, giving us a peek into his upcoming action thriller featuring Arun Vijay as a cop, a role similar to that of his last release Kuttram 23. The teaser opens to a video of people narrating the traits of a particular killer who likes to leave his imprint behind, just so he could tease the police.
Arun Vijay plays the cop with a perpetual stern face and determination in his eyes. He has a romantic side to him too, when the female lead (Tanya Hope) is seen laughing and smiling around.

Thadam, which literally translates to ‘imprint’, will also have choreographer-turned-actor FEFSI Vijayan and Meera Krishnan in key roles. The film went on floors on June 19 last year and is slated for a release this year.
The film also marks Arun’s second collaboration with the producer Inder Kumar, the other movie being last year’s Kuttram 23. Magizh Thirumeni, who last directed Meaghamann in 2014, is collaborating with Arun for the second time after Thadaiyara Thaakka (2012).
Bankrolled by Redhan The Cinema People, the film’s music is composed by newcomer Arun Raj.
