Telugu comedian Brahmanandham has joined the cast of Lingaa. The veteran actor plays the role of a cop in the film and has some hilarious comic scenes with Santhanam and Karunakaran in the flick, said a source close to the sets. He was last seen opposite Suriya in Anjaan.
Meanwhile, the film’s team has just returned from gruelling back-to-back schedules, and is currently on a break. The climax portions of the film were shot recently with Lee Whittaker supervising a never-before-seen action sequence with Rajinikanth and Jagapathi Babu.
Directed by KS Ravikumar, the film is set in two distinct time periods and will have Rajini in dual roles. The film is almost eighty percent complete, we hear, and is rapidly progressing towards the finish line.
