The makers of The Rajini Effect have just released an intriguing teaser to their movie, where starts including Silambarasan and Radhika Sarathkumar and many others are asked about what the Rajini effect is.

This quirky movie folows a Japanese superfan/nerd who tries everything possible to become the next Superstar of Tamil Cinema. With an older Indian gentleman in tow, he goes about making a movie which slyly references all of the Superstar’s flicks. There is the heroine who lisps her way through Tamil, the fake bull chase and a useless villain who would rather sing than scare. The movie has proved to be quite popular at the film festival circuit and has even won the audience appreciation award at the Stuttgart film festival.
