The teaser of Atlee’s second directorial, Theri, is likely to be launched on January 14, during the Pongal festival. Shooting of the film is nearly complete, with only the climax sequence and a few patchwork scenes still remaining. The climax sequence is currently being shot, and post-production work will begin shortly. Theri is on course to release in the second week of April.
Theri stars Vijay, Samantha, and Amy Jackson, and has music scored by GV Prakash Kumar. As with his previous films, Vijay has sung a song Theri‘s album. Actors Prabhu, Radhika Sarathkumar, TM Karthik, Azhagam Perumal, Mahendran, Santhanam, Rajendran, Meena’s daughter Nainika, Kaali Venkat and Sunanina comprise the supporting cast. George C Williams has handled the cinematography, and Anthony L Ruben will edit the film. The film is produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu.
