Actor and Producer Thiagarajan has dismissed speculation that Trisha Krishnan was the front runner to act in the Tamil version of the movie. Speaking over the phone, he said “There is no truth in the news that Trisha or anybody else has been finalised for our film. We are in talks with a lot of people but not finalised anything. This is a very important film and such things require lot of thought. Besides it’s a role that any talented actor would love to do. I have been hearing such speculations for  long time.” Thiagarajan has bagged the remake rights of the Hindi film Queen in all the Southern languages.

He also denied that he zeroed in on a director for the movie, and added “I am in Mumbai now and I will back on Tue. Will be making an official announcement soon.”

The original Queen has Kangna Ranaut playing a woman who goes on a honeymoon by herself when her wedding gets called off.
