Teaser of Kalathil Santhippom Starring Jiiva and Arulnithi Released

The teaser of the upcoming film Kalathil Santhippom starring actors Jiiva and Arulnithi in lead roles was released by Vijay Sethupathi and Arya at 6 pm on Monday.


The film is helmed by N RajasekarSharing the link to the teaser, Sethupathi wrote, “Congrats @JiivaOfficial bro @arulnithitamil bro & team. Happy to share #KalathilSandhippomTeaser.” Arya wrote, “Brothers in crime Darlings @JiivaOfficial and @arulnithitamil solid Entertainer on the way.”

The one-and-a-half-minute-long teaser features Jiiva and Arulnithi as Kabaddi players who appear to be best friends. Their friendship is put on trial as love, sports, family feud, and drama take the centre stage.

On Saturday, actor Jiiva announced the release of the teaser. Taking to Twitter, the Gypsy-actor wrote, “#KalathilSandhippom teaser will be released on Monday @ 6 PM. Stay tuned..”

The action-drama is bankrolled by Jiiva’s father RB Chaudhury’s Super Good Films. Actors Priya Bhavani Shankar and Manjima Mohan have been roped in to play the lead roles. Besides, the film’s cast also includes Radha Ravi, Robo Shankar, Aadukalam Naren, Renuka, and Bala Saravanan.


The music is composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja. While Abinandhan Ramanujam is handling the camera, Dinesh Ponraj will be on the edit. R Ashok has penned the dialogues and Pa Vijay and Viveka are the lyricists of the film. The art direction is handled by M Murugan. 

Meanwhile, Jiiva was last seen in Raju Murugan‘s Gypsy. Earlier this year, it was announced that he will be starring in Pa Vijay’s next film Methavi along with Arjun Sarja and Raashi Khanna. He is currently working on Kabir Khan’s 83, where he will be playing the role of former Indian cricketer Krishnamachari Srikkanth. 

Arulnithi was last seen in Barath Neelakantan’s thriller, K-13. On account of the actor’s birthday on July 23, his upcoming movie with debutant director Innasi Pandiyan Diary was announced.
