Actress Trisha enjoyed a ride on the Chennai metro yesterday, having boarded the morning train at 7.30 am from Alandur station. The actress was reportedly ‘surprised’ by the standards of Chennai Metro. In an interview to TOI, she recalled her memories of shooting Manmadhan Ambu on the metro trains of Europe. She also declared that Chennai Metro ‘is on par with international standards’ and that she is a proud Chennaiite.
Trisha then shot a few selfies with her fans, and got off at Arumbakkam.
The first metro train in Chennai was flagged off by Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa on June 29.
Trisha is now shooting for Thoongaavanam and Aranmanai 2.
