Television actress Mrunal Thakur is the female lead in Super 30 starring Hrithik Roshan. Pictures of Mrunal and Hrithik from the sets of the film in Varanasi have already been leaked.

According to Filmfare, the shooting has been taking place on the banks of Ganga, as well as at Ramnagar fort in which a part of it has been converted to look like a coaching institute.
The film, directed by Vikas Bahl of Queen fame, will showcase the life of ace mathematician, Anand Kumar. The Patna-based mathematician is known for education programme ‘Super 30’ where he trains 30 deserving, economically backward students for IIT-JEE – the entrance exams of IIT – each year, with a commendable success rate.
While Mrunal is a known face in Hindi soaps, especially known for her role as Bulbul in Kumkum Bhagya, Super 30 marks her acting debut in Bollywood. She has done two films in the past – Marathi film Vitti Dandu (2014) and Hindi-English titled Love Sonia, starring Freida Pinto, Demi Moore, Manoj Bajpayee, Richa Chadda, Anupam Kher, Adil Hussain, Rajkummar Rao, and Sai Tamhankar.
Super 30, slated for a 2019 release, also stars Pankaj Tripathi and is bankrolled by Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment and Phantom Films.
