The Tamil Nadu Government has granted entertainment tax exemption to actor STR’s film, Vaalu. The movie had been facing a lot of delay, but is now planned for release on July 3. Although a proper release date hasn’t been confirmed, an official announcement is expected soon.
Earlier, the movie had been censored with a U certificate by Censor Board officials, and the release had to be postponed 10 times.

A relieved STR tweeted that the second trailer of Vaalu is almost ready, and will soon be released. Now that his father T Rajender has secured the distribution rights, promotions of the movie are set to start in full swing in the coming weeks.
Directed by Vijay Chander, Vaalu stars STR and Hansika in the lead roles. Actors Santhanam, VTV Ganesh, Brahmanandam, Aadukalam Naren and Misha Ghoshal form the supporting cast. Produced by SS Chakravarthy’s Nic Arts, Vaalu has music composed by Thaman.
