Vadivelu will reportedly play a spy in his upcoming film, Eli. The period comedy has Tenali Raman director Yuvaraj at the helm and was announced earlier this year. D Imman will compose the soundtrack while Oho Productions is in-charge of the finance. Gopi Amarnath, who was behind the stunning visuals of Pizza, handles the camerawork for this film. We hear that the team will make an official announcement pretty soon about the female lead in the project.
In addition to this, the actor has signed on to be a part of four other films, which will be announced soon. Vadivelu has limited his sidekick roles in the last few years, choosing to concentrate more on his career as the ‘lead’.
