Varaipadam starring Ashok Selvan and newbie Shanvi Srivastava, went on floors recently. The movie was launched after a small pooja in the presence of Kaththi director AR Murugadoss. Directed by Ashraf ,a former associate of AR Murugadoss, the film will reportedly feature Ashok Selvan in two different ‘looks’. Nivas K Prasanna (who debuted with Thegidi) composes music.
Varaipadam is said to be a film with generous doses of action and romance and is being bankrolled by SK Films.
