Actor Varun Tej began working on his new film, Loafer, with filmmaker Puri Jagganadh today. The film will be produced by C. Kalyan. Varun tweeted the news along with a request to his fans for their support, as he embarks on a new project. The film is expected to be an action film, featuring strong emotional moments around motherhood. Starring newcomer Disha Patani, Loafer will be predominantly shot in Jodhpur and Rajasthan. The filmmakers had initially planned to cast Nithiin Reddy in the lead, but ultimately Varun was signed on.
