Director Vasanthabalan has begun casting for his next film. According to sources, the director is looking for fresh faces, aged 16 to 20 years. Vasathabalan told Silverscreen, “I’m finishing the script work for my next film. I will be casting new faces for the lead roles. Auditioning process is underway for this film, which will be on the lines of Angadi Theru. I am looking for young, talented actors who have not acted in films.”
He added, “The official announcement with other details of the film will be made soon.”
Vasanthabalan’s Angadi Theru was a hard-hitting film that threw light on the life of salespeople. Vasanthabalan won the Filmfare Best Director award for Angadi Theru; the film also won a special prize at the State Awards.
The director’s last film was Kaaviya Thalaivan, which had Prithviraj and Siddharth in lead roles.
