Velaiyilla Pattathari is gearing up for release in July. Directed by Velraj, the film stars actor Dhanush and actress Amala Paul in lead roles, supported by Samudrakani,Saranya Ponvannan and Vivek. The movie will be distributed by P Madan of Escape Artists Motion Pictures, and is reportedly eyeing a release date in the third week of July. With Karthi’s Madras also likely to release on July 25, it is quite possible that the two movies might go head to head.
Velaiyilla Pattathari’s trailer was released earlier this week and has proved to be very popular with Dhanush fans. Though the scenes involving Dhanush smoking created some controversy, it has received a positive response overall.
