Directors Venkat Prabhu, Pa Ranjith, M Rajesh, and Chimbu Deven have teamed up to direct a new Tamil anthology series titled Victim: Who’s Next? The series will be released on an OTT platform.
The upcoming series will be produced under Venkat Prabhu’s banner Black Ticket Company and Axess Film Factory. It has also been speculated that the series might be released on Disney+ Hotstar.

While details regarding the project are yet to be revealed, artists like Anirudh, Sivakartikeyan, and Gautham Vasudev Menon congratulated the creators on their upcoming venture in a unique way.

They each tweeted out a situation in which they have been a victim. Music director Yuvan Shankar Raja tweeted saying that he had been a victim of comparison but it helped him understand himself.

Victim comes at a time when the Tamil film industry has been seeing several anthology series. With Amazon Prime’s Putham Pudu Kaalai receiving good reviews, there have been announcements of other anthology series such as Navarasa and Paava Kadhaigal.
Venkat is working on the Hotstar series Live Streaming, starring actor Kajal Aggarwal.
For the other directors, this will be their first directorial venture on an OTT platform.
M Rajesh’s movie Mr. Local was released in 2019, while Chimbu Deven previously worked on Puli.
Pa Ranjith’s last directorial venture was the Rajinikanth-starrer Kaala. In 2019, he produced the film Irandam Ulagaporin Kadaisi Gundu under his production banner Neelam Productions.
