Vignesh Shivan of Poda Podi fame, who has directed Anirudh Ravichander’s single, Chanceyilla has termed the experience of working with the young composer as ‘phenomenal’. The song, which is about Chennai, was penned by Vignesh and composed by Anirudh.
The duo is also teaming up for their upcoming film, Naanum Rowdy Thaan featuring Gautham Karthik. “My idea is to make a musical film, which every individual would be able to relate to. Anirudh’s music will be the highlight,” said Vignesh. Lavanya Tripathi stars opposite Gautham Karthik in the movie, which is produced by Gautham Menon under his banner Photon Kathaas.
Vignesh Shivan had also written lyrics for the song Engadi Porandha from Vanakkam Chennai.
