Atlee’s second directorial venture starring Vijay will go on floors on June 26. The yet-untitled film, called Vijay 59 by his fans, will be shot in a lavish set erected at the cost of Rs 3 crore at Binny Mills. The crew is awaiting the return of actor Vijay, who is currently holidaying with his family in London.
The film’s music director GV Prakash Kumar tweeted earlier this week that composer Deva has recorded a ‘local’ number for this film. This also happens to be GV Prakash’s 50th project. The details regarding the cast of the film, however, seem a little unclear. Reports suggest that Samantha and Amy Jackson will be the female leads for the film, though there has been no official announcement yet.
