Actor Vijay visited the family of the late Major Mukund Varadarajan to pay his respects. The Chennai-based Major was killed last month at an encounter in Kashmir and was laid to rest with full state honours and a 42-gun salute. The Kaththi actor reached out to Mukund’s parents recently and even spent time with his daughter, Arshea. A source close to the actor told us that Vijay was incredibly moved by Major Mukund’s sacrifice and wanted to meet the family to offer his condolences and extend his support.
