Vijay Sethupathi has dismissed rumours that he is making his Bollywood debut with a major role in the Vasan Bala directed Hindi film Mard Ko Dard Nahin Hota. Sethupathi told Silverscreen, “I’m not sure where they’re getting all this information. I have not signed anything like that yet.” Vasan Bala is Anurag Kashyap’s former assistant.

Meanwhile, a Deccan Chronicle report quotes a source saying, “Talks for the film Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota are underway for a while now, but nothing has been confirmed yet. He is yet to sign on the dotted line and is soon expected to give his nod for this prestigious project.”
If the project does materialise, it would pave the way for Vijay Sethupathi to establish a solid career in the Hindi film industry.
