Vijay Sethupathi’s next with Gautham Karthik has been titled Oru Nalla Naal Paathu Solren. The film is a fantasy comedy, directed by debutant Arumuga Kumar.

Sethupathi, expressing his excitement over the film’s quirky title, told Silverscreen: “With a good title these days, a film can go many places. That’s why, when the director approached me with this title, I immediately got excited. The film’s script and its name go so well together. It will redefine the image people have of me, and I’m very excited to see that happen.”
He plays a tribal leader in the project. “It is neither a negative nor a positive role. It exists in the in-between, and that’s refreshing.”
The actor is fresh from the success of Kavan, a KV Anand film that took on biased media.
