Vijay Sethupathi will star in a new movie titled Vikram-Veda, to be directed by the Pushkar – Gayathri duo. According to a report in The Hindu, the actor will play the role of a gangster in the movie.
Vikram-Veda is an action thriller ‘set in the world of encounter cops’ and has Vijay Sethupathi playing Veda. The project will be produced by Sashikanth under his Y Not Studios banner. Speaking about the film, Sashikanth said,“That’s also among the most original scripts we have developed. It’s like a Catch Me If You Can meets Vikram aur Betaal.”
Vijay Sethupathi is currently busy shooting Naanum Rowdy Dhaan, directed by Vignesh Shivan.
