Actor Vijay Sethupathi, who is awaiting the release of Karthik Subbaraj’s Iraivi and Nalan Kumarasamy’s Kadhalum Kadandhu Pogum, has signed his next film. Vijay Sethupathi’s publicist confirmed the news, and added that the title of the film is Rekka.
According to the PRO, Rekka is a commercial entertainer. Actress Lakshmi Menon might play the female lead in this film. Director Shiva Gnanam, whose Vaa Deal has been lying in the cans for a long time, will be helming this film. Shooting of this film will kickstart in the upcoming days. Currently, Vijay Sethupathi is busy shooting for Seenu Ramasamy’s Dharmadurai in Theni. The actor will join the sets of Rekka after completing this film.
