Actor Vijay became a big deal at a very young age. In a career spanning nearly 20 years, the actor has dabbled in a bit of everything when it comes to his movies. The star came into prominence for his moves on the dancefloor and his ‘mass’ performances, while his singing is nothing to sneeze at either. Vijay’s ‘Google’ song for Thuppakki became a chartbusting hit and he followed it with the surprisingly mellow ‘Kandaangi’ in Jilla. Now, sources tell us that efforts are on to rope in the actor to sing for his latest project – Kaththi – as well. The music for the movie is by the ever controversial Anirudh Ravichander with lyrics by Madhan Karky. The track is said to be a fun and energetic number and is likely to be canned soon. But Ilayathalapathi fans need not worry, Vijay is in no mood to abandon his acting career to pursue singing!
