Actor-politician Vijayakanth has joined Facebook, and is already posting updates on Ramadan. His first post on Facebook confirmed that this would be his official account. Beginning his Facebook journey from July 1, the actor posted his thoughts on the present government and the genocide in Sri Lanka. He also shared a letter he had written about his childhood friend Ibrahim Rowther.
Vijayakanth was in the news after the release of his yoga videos and pictures. He had become a source of Facebook humour, with users sharing videos, pictures and memes about him. Finding these posts offensive, the actor had filed a complaint, but no serious action could be taken and the issue had died down.
