Actor Chiyaan Vikram is set to star in a lead role in a multilingual film titled Mahavir Karna. The film, with a budget of Rs 300 crores, is an epic fiction that will be directed by RS Vimal, who had directed the Malayalam hit Ennu Ninte Moideen.
The film, which will be mostly shot in Hindi, will also be dubbed in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam. Vikram’s character is reportedly based on Karna from The Mahabharata.
Meanwhile, Vikram’s Sketch, directed by Vijay Chander, is set for a Pongal release. The film, which is bankrolled by Thaanu’s V Creations, has Malayalam actor Baburaj playing a crucial role and music is composed by Thaman.
The actor is also working on Saamy Square and Gautham Menon’s Dhruva Natchathiram.
