Director Vetri Maaran’s award-winning film Visaranai is likely to be released in theatres on February 5.
Earlier, the film’s co-producer Dhanush and director Vetri Maaran had announced that the film would hit the theatres on January 29. However, the latest tweet by producer and distributor Raju Mahalingam of Lyca Productions has confirmed the release date of Visaranai. The production house’s previous two outings Kaththi and Naanum Rowdy Dhan were box-office hits.

Visaranai is an hard-hitting thriller film based on the novel, Lock Up written by Auto Chandran. Starring Attakathi Dinesh, Aadukalam Murugadoss, Samuthirakani, Kishore and Anandhi, this film has music by GV Prakash.
