Actor and Nadigar Sangam secretary Vishal will be assisting late music Chandrabose’s family through Devi foundation, his charitable organisation. Vishal’s response came in the wake of an article in Kumudham magazine which reported that the family has been grappling with poor financial conditions.

During his career, Chandrabose composed music for more than 300 movies between the late 1980s and early 1990s. His most popular works were Viduthalai, Manidhan and Raja Chinna Roja. Since his death in 2010, his wife Rajkumari has been supporting the family by working as a domestic help. In the interview with Kumudham, Rajkumari complained that they have not been receiving any royalties for Chandrabose’s songs. She requested members of the film industry to help their family.
Following the article, Vishal met Mrs. Rajkumar and offered her financial support through Devi foundation.
Last year, Vishal had helped singer and actress Paravai Muniyamma whose health had deteriorated and who had been unable to afford the medication at the local government hospital.
