The Tamil Film Producers Council (TFPC) is all set to conduct their elections on April 2nd at the Kandaswamy College in Anna Nagar. It will be held under the supervision of former Justice Rajeshwar. The polling will take place from 8 am to 4 pm on April 2nd and the results will be announced the same evening.

The association has announced the list of candidates contesting the elections. Five candidates – former president Keyaar, actor Vishal Krishna, T Siva, Radhakrishnan and current president Kalaipuli S Thanu, are in the running for the post of President.
Director Gautham Menon (Ondraga Entertainment), Producers AM Rathnam and PT Selvakumar are running for the post of Vice-President; while AL Azhagappan, KE Gnanavel Raja (Studio Green), Five Star Kathiresan, JSK Sathish Kumar, Mysskin, Mannan and Sivasakthi SD Pandian compete for the post of Secretary.
Babu Ganesh, SA Chandrasekaran, SR Prabhu (Dream Warrior) and Vijayamuralee N will compete for the post of Treasurer.
