Actor Vishal Krishna will mark his acting debut in Malayalam with a role in the Mohanlal movie, Villain. The Kathi Sandai actor will be seen playing the antagonist in the movie. He spoke to DC confirming the news, “Sharing screen space with Lal sir was enough for me to hop on board.”
The 39-year-old actor will be essaying the role of a doctor, and will sport two different looks. “In the contemporary portions, I will be sporting spectacles with a moustache and a stubble. In the flashback portions, I am a clean-shaven medical college student,” he said.

Learning Malayalam has been quite a challenge for the actor. “The film has a mix of Tamil and Malayalam. I am still learning the language and diction from my director Unnikrishnan, and one of his ADs.”
Vishal will be paired opposite Hansika Motwani in the movie. She will also be playing a doctor.”We are classmates from medical college. Since we have already worked together in Tamil, we share great rapport and our comfort levels are good.”
Villain will also star Raashi Khanna, Manju Warrier, Chemban Vinod in pivotal roles. The movie is unlikely to release in Tamil.
