Actor Vishal wished Nadigar Sangam President Sarathkumar on Twitter for his birthday. The duo has been engaged in a cold war over issues concerning the Nadigar Sangam building and elections.
Vishal’s message, though, went unacknowledged.
Happy bday. @realsarathkumar sir. Hav a rocking year ahead. God bless
— Vishal (@VishalKOfficial) July 14, 2015
Vishal, along with Nasser, Karthi and Karunas, said in an open statement that the Nadigar Sangam land must not be sold to SPI Cinemas, but must be used to build a marriage hall or ‘something that would be of use to the members of the Sangam’.
Vishal and co are contesting in the Nadigar Sangam elections opposite current president R Sarathkumar and secretary Radha Ravi. The Madras High Court issued an interim stay on the Nadigar Sangam elections based on Vishal’s appeal; the revised date will be announced in the coming weeks.
Actor Vishal still reiterates that he would withdraw from the elections if the Nadigar Sangam building issue is sorted.
