Actor Vishal’s father, producer GK Reddy, will act in Nivin Pauly’s next Tamil film, directed by Gautham Ramachandran. GK Reddy made his acting debut last year, at the age of 77, with the Kannada film Rakshasi, a remake of the Tamil film Pisaasu. The producer had harboured dreams of becoming an actor since the age of 17.

The Nivin Pauly film has an ensemble star cast which includes actress Shraddha Srinath and cinematographer-actor Natty, among others. The film is a remake of the Kannada film Ulidavaru Kandanthe, an anthology of five stories linked to a murder.
Shooting is currently underway at Manapad in Tuticorin. The technical crew includes cinematographer Pandi Kumar, editor Atul, art director Jaya, and music composer Ajaneesh Loknath. Ajaneesh Loknath has also composed the music for the original. The film is produced by Anand Kumar and Vinod Shornur.
