Vikranth’s action thriller Thaaka Thaaka was scheduled to release on July 31, but the release has been postponed in order to avoid competition with Vijay Sethupathi’s Orange Mittai, Vikram Prabhu’s Idhu Enna Maayam, and Jayam Ravi’s Sakalakalavallan. All three films will be releasing on July 31. Vishal plays the male lead in the film, on the heels of his role as a trustworthy friend in Pandiya Naadu.
Directed by Sanjeev, Thaaka Thaaka will be distributed by Thanu’s Kalaipuli international banner. A promotional video song featuring Vikranth, Vishal, Arya, and Vishnu Vishal has already been released. The Thaakka Thaakka album includes four songs composed by Jakes Bejoy. Meanwhile, Actor Vikranth will also be playing the antagonist in Udhayanidhi Stalin’s Gethu.
