Actor Vishnu Vishal has just wrapped up the first schedule of Maaveeran Kittu. The team had been shooting the Suseenthiran directorial in areas near Pazhani for almost 25 days. Talking to Silverscreen about the film, Vishnu Vishal said,”The film is set in the 1980s, and I will be seen in 4 different looks in the film. Even though I’ve worked with Suseenthiran in two previous films, I have to say, the fan of his in me has grown manifold during the shoot of Maaveeran Kittu. He has so much clarity in what he wants, making even lengthy and tough scenes seem very easy,” said Vishnu.
Maaveeran Kittu is based on true events. Directed by Suseenthiran, the film chronicles the life of a man who fought for the rights of Tamil people in 1985. The team hopes to release the film by the end of this year. “The portions of the film that has Sri Divya has just ended. There are only a few days of shooting left, and we hope to release the film in 2-3 months from now.”
Vishnu Vishal also revealed that working with actor Parthiepan in Maaveeran Kittu was a learning experience. “Parthiban sir plays a very strong character in the film, there was so much to learn from him. There is so much consistency in him – no matter how many takes the shot goes for, his performance is strong from start to finish.”
Suseenthiran’s regulars, Soori and music director Imman have signed on to be a part of Maaveeran Kittu as well. Vishnu Vishal is confident that the music in Maaveeran Kittu will achieve the same level of popularity that Jeeva’s music did.”The songs in the film will be as popular as our last collaboration Jeeva” said Vishnu.
The film is produced by Icewear Chandrasamy, D.N.Thai Saravanan and Rajeevan.
