Industry sources say that actor Vivek Oberoi, best-known for his roles in Company and Rakht Charitra, may reprise Neil Nitin Mukesh’s role in the Telugu remake of Kaththi, which happens to be Chiranjeevi’s 150th film.
“Vivek Oberoi is the front-runner for the antagonist’s role. While nothing has been made official yet, the makers are in talks with the actor,” a source told Silverscreen.in.
The remake, which is slated to go on the floors early next year, will be directed by V.V Vinayak. Lyca Productions, who originally produced the film in Tamil, will co-produce the Telugu version with Ram Charan. The rest of the cast is yet to be finalized.
