Actor Vivek was recently gifted a watch by Ajith Kumar, and he revealed the story behind the unexpected gift in a recent interview to a Tamil magazine. “Ajith and I were travelling to Sikkim to shoot a portion of Thala 55. He was wearing an expensive watch and he caught me admiring it. He asked me to wear it and told me that it was mine from that instant! I was shocked, but it was a nice kind of shock.” When Vivek tried to protest, Ajith said, “No no… I wanted to give it to you. Good times will start now for you!”
Vivek plays the role of a police officer who assists Ajith in the film. About half the the shooting has been completed so far, and the team is currently shooting near Chennai.
