Pattiyal Sekhar, father of director Vishnuvardhan and actor Kreshna, makes his acting debut with Rajathandhiram. He plays the villain of the piece – Kanchi Azhagappan – opposite Veera, Regina Cassandra and Darbuka Siva. The film is directed by AG Amith, and produced by the White Bucket Productions banner.
Sekhar had earlier produced Pattiyal starring Arya and Bharath, and more recently, Kazhugu starring his son Kreshna. A teaser featuring the veteran producer was released recently, and was shared by Kreshna on Twitter.
With this role, Sekhar joins the club of producers-turned-actors like AL Alagappan, Subbu Panchu and Jayaprakash among others.
