Actor Sarath Kumar has said on twitter that his upcoming film Sandamarudham is being shot in Pollachi.. The actor-turned-politician revealed the reason for his fondness for the place and tweeted, “Sandamarudham shooting in progress at Pollachi which has been the location of many of my hit films, happy to be here, been busy travelling.” Sandamarudham is directed by A. Venkatesh, who has earlier made films like Bhagavathi and Aai. Interestingly, Sarath Kumar, who dons dual roles in the film, has also penned the story. The flick stars Oviya, Meera Nandan, Radikaa Sarathkumar and Samuthirakani and James Vasanthan composes the music, while Radaan Mediaworks produces the film.
