Vidharth will act in and produce director Manikandan’s next film. Titled Kutramum Dhandanaiyum, the movie is an action thriller and marks the debut of theatre artiste, Pooja. GV Prakash Kumar has been roped in to compose music while Manikandan plans to handle the cinematography himself. Shooting is all set to commence in a few days and the team plans to complete it in one long schedule, as they are eyeing a January 2015 release date.
Vidharth’s new production house, Don Films will be bankrolling the project.
It is to be noted that Manikandan’s debut film – Kaaka Muttai – has not been released yet, but has gained attention due to the rave reviews it has been getting in the festival circuit.
