After days of radio silence on the issue, actor Vijay has finally spoken out on the controversy surrounding Kaththi. He has thanked the former Tamil Nadu CM Jayalalithaa, the police officials and others for supporting them through everything. In an official statement, the actor confirmed that the Lyca banner and logo would be removed from all publicity material of the film and thanked the producers for agreeing to this. He also wished everyone a Happy Deepavali and requested the audience to watch the film in theatres.
