A ‘lucky’ Ashokan (Gregory) has been rigorously searching for his better half, only to be rejected for his looks and teased by his friends. All of the prospects are looking, smiling, and showing all signs of acceptance, but somehow end up rejecting him at the end. One fine day, he chances upon Shyama (Anupama), and just when he assumes that everything seems to be in his favour, something ‘crazy’ poses a threat to his marriage once again. A glimpse of Dulquer in the navy uniform can be seen in the trailer too.

Dulquer took to Twitter to release the trailer.

Maniyarayile Ashokan revolves around the romantic life of Ashokan (Gregory), a middle-class man. Anupama plays Shyama in the film.

The film that was originally announced to be the first production under Dulquer’s Wayfarer banner has now become the second owing to the release of Varane Avashyamundu prior to it. Apart from the lead cast, the romantic drama also stars Sunny Wayn as Ajayan, Shine Tom Chacko as Shaiju, Shritha Sivadas as Anju, Onima Kashyap, Nayana Elza, and Krishna Sankar as Ratheesh, in important roles.
