What’s New This Week: 10 New Films and Shows Releasing on Streaming Apps This Week

With Valentines Day around the corner, many films have lined up for a release, in theatres and on OTT platforms, this week. Films including Uppena, Kutty Story and Sajaan Bakery Since 1962 will be releasing in theatres on February 12. At the same time, many films and shows will also be streaming on OTT platforms including Netflix, Disney Plus and Amazon Prime Video this week.

Here are 10 films and shows releasing on OTT platforms this week from February 11 to February 17.

1. The Big Day – Netflix (February 14)
The Big Day is a reality television show that takes a look at the multibillion dollar wedding industry in India. The show features the journeys of six different, and differentiated, couples as they take the reins of planning the wedding of their dreams.

2. Live Telecast – Disney Plus (February 12)
Venkat Prabhu‘s horror series, Live Telecast, features Kajal Aggarwal in the lead, co-starring Vaibhav Reddy and Anandhi. The show features a television crew, who set out to create a super hit show. While shooting, they realise that they are trapped in a house controlled by supernatural powers.

3. Crashh – Zee5 and Alt Balaji (February 14)
Starring Aditi Sharma, Kunj Anand, Anushka Sen, Rohan Mehra, and Zain Imam, Crashh revolves around the story of four siblings who got separated in their childhood due to an accident.

4. Life In a Year – Amazon Prime Video (February 14)
Starring Jaden Smith and Cara Delevingne, Life In a Year follows 17-year-old Daryn who finds out that his girlfriend is dying. He sets out to give her a lifetime’s worth of experiences in the year she has left to live.

5. The Map of Tiny Perfect Things – Amazon Prime Video (February 12)
The Map of Tiny Perfect Things revolves around Mark, a quick-witted teen, who is living the same day in an endless loop. His life is turned upside down after he meets the mysterious Margaret, who is also stuck in the same loop. The two struggle to figure out how and whether to escape the loop.

6. To All The Boys: Always and Forever – Netflix (February 12)
The third and final instalment to the To All The Boys trilogy, the film showcases Lara Jean Covey as she prepares for the end of high school and the start of adulthood. A pair of life-changing trips lead her to reimagine what life with her family, friends, and Peter will look like after graduation.

7. Buried by The Bernards – Netflix (February 12)
This reality television series revolves around the Bernards, a bickering but a big-hearted family, who manage a budget-freindly funeral home. The show will focus on their business and their journey in helping grieving families say farewell.

8. Nadiya Bakes – Netflix (February 12) 
Nadiya Bakes features Nadiya Hussain, the winner of the sixth season of The Great British Bake Off, as she returns to baking and spotlights creative kindred spirits.

9. Behind Her Eyes – Netflix (February 17)
This psychological thriller show is about a single mother who enters a world of twisted mind games when she begins an affair with her psychiatrist boss while secretly befriending his mysterious wife.

10. Namaste Wahala – Netflix (February 14)
Starring Ini Dima-Okojie and Ruslaan Mumtaz, Namaste Wahala is the story around a Indo-Nigerian couple. After a chance encounter on the beach, they fall in love. However, their significantly different cultures and opposing parents become a challenge to them from being together.
