Yogi Babu starrer Cocktail is the latest film to bypass theatrical release and head to a streaming site. Helmed by Ra Vijaya Murugan, the film will stream on Zee5 from July 10. Bankrolled by PG Muthiah and M Deepa under their PG Media Works banner, the film marks the fourth film headlined by the actor after his 2019 flicks Dharma Prabhu, Gurkha, and Zombie.

Touted to be a mystery thriller, the film deals with four married friends who escape from a tricky situation with the help of a cockatiel.
Apart from Yogi, Reshmi Gopinath, Mime Gopi, Sayaji Shinde, Kawin, Mithun Mageswaran, and, ‘Vettukili’/’KPY’ Bala have landed significant roles. Sai Bhaskar has composed music, Dinesh Mohan was on art, RJ Raveen was on camera and, SN Fazil was on the edit. Lyrics have been penned by Vivek Ravi and the dance choreographer is Santhosh.
A few months ago, a teaser of the film was released followed by the audio jukebox of the film. The Cocktail album comprises four songs.
The film was to hit theatres in March but was postponed due to the coronavirus-induced lockdown. It will now be available on the Zee5 app directly.
